The BancoLagawe logo was designed by Mr. Enrique “En” Gallardo, Jr., an artist and a former staff of the Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement (PRRM).
The logo resembles the Ifugao rice terraces, with three steps and top knoll.
The entire logo also symbolizes a fig of palay, with the leaves branching out and the grains on top.
The three concentric semi-circles also represent the private sector, government, and civil society representing a tripartite approach in local economy development.
The semi-circles also stand for the community of borrowers, depositors and investors who need to nurture and protect the financial health (symbolized by the golden circle) of the bank, like a baby being carried in an oban or baby sling carrier.
